Born and raised in Alaska, Hans attended Luther College in Decorah IA. He spent the last 25 years (running Dakota Road Music, a grassroots performance/publishing company) and cobbling together various musical gigs to do what he loves – getting people singing. He enjoys ultimate frisbee, hiking, biking, cooking, and has a soft spot for ice cream and most brands of chips. On his day off, he might be found weeding the garden, pruning apple trees, eating ice cream or hanging out with his spouse, Heidi Morlock or one of his boys, Nelson (23) or Simon (17). In all that he does, Hans prays and works for a world where all creation is seen as sacred.
