I am new to River of Hope

New to River of Hope?

YOU are Welcome! Visiting a new church can be intimidating. We strive to create a safe environment to practice dangerous faith. So, we’ve designed a page for you in the hope it will answer some of your questions and help you take a step through the doors of our worship space knowing the lay of the land. We don’t have all the answers – but will at least try to tell you what to expect.

The Lord's Prayer - A Series

Do you pray? Do you know the Lord's Prayer? Jesus taught his disciples to pray using this outline for prayer. Join us as we dive into this prayer and as we practice praying it together.

River of Hope

See you outside this summer!

Meet Pastor Laura

Hi there. We gather together as River of Hope for plenty of reasons. To pray and thank God, to give praise to God. Certainly, that is primary to why we gather. We also gather to practice what it means to be a Christian. We learn the story of the Bible which is our story. But, ultimately? We gather so that we can go out into the world and live what we practice when we're together.

Come and practice with us.

Don't wait to come to worship until you have it all figured out. Don't wait until your faith is "strong enough" or your life is "perfect." (ha!) Church is a gathering of people practicing faith. We don't have all the answers. We have tons of questions. We have imperfect lives. It's all part of a life of faith.

I hope to see you at worship. But more importantly, I hope to meet you in the community. It's where faith is lived.
